Speed isn't optional. It's a critical ranking factor.
Core Web Vitals metrics have become a direct factor in your website's Google ranking. A slow website not only wastes visitors' time but also costs you your search engine ranking, draining your customers and profits every day. I'm here to address this sluggishness and bring your website back to the forefront with precise measurements.
Smart Body Store went from 22 to 92 on mobile - the full before/after is further down this page.
Smart Body Store - performance, SEO, and UX improved continuously over 3 years.
File and image compression, caching, and code cleanup on every project.
Every optimized website is verified across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
A systematic audit and remediation - not a plugin install.
Speed optimization is not running a plugin and calling it done. It's a layered process from server to browser.
Performance Audit
Why this matters: you can't fix what you haven't measured - this pinpoints exactly what's slowing your site down before any work begins.
- Baseline CWV report (Lighthouse, GTmetrix)
- Waterfall analysis - every resource mapped
- Render-blocking resource identification
- Server response time (TTFB) diagnosis
- Real User Metrics (CrUX data) review
Server-Side Optimization
Why this matters: server response time sets the floor for every other optimization - a slow server undermines everything built on top of it.
- Browser caching and cache-header rules
- Full-page caching (NGINX / LiteSpeed)
- PHP version upgrade and compatibility check
- Database cleanup and query indexing
- GZIP / Brotli compression
Front-End Optimization
Why this matters: this is what visitors actually feel first - a faster-rendering page keeps people from bouncing before content even appears.
- Critical CSS extraction and inlining
- JavaScript defer and async loading
- CSS/JS minification and bundling
- Font loading optimization (font-display: swap)
- Render-blocking resource elimination
Image Optimization
Why this matters: images are usually the single biggest page-weight contributor - and often the fastest, safest win.
- WebP conversion for all images
- Lazy loading implementation
- Responsive image srcset configuration
- Image CDN integration (Cloudflare / BunnyCDN)
- LCP image preloading
CDN & Hosting
Why this matters: serving assets closer to your visitors, on faster infrastructure, reduces latency that code optimization alone cannot fix.
- Cloudflare setup and rules configuration
- Static asset CDN integration
- HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 enablement
- DNS TTL optimization
- Hosting upgrade recommendations

Monthly Revenue Post-Rebuild: A massive revenue surge driven by a premium modern design, compressed and optimized assets, advanced caching configurations, image lazy-loading, and robust On-Page SEO execution.
- Lighthouse score: 92/100
- LCP: 1.4s
- CLS: 0.02
- TTFB: 0.28s
Common questions.
I work to a target score (typically 90+ on mobile) and continue tuning until we reach it. Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals are lab and field metrics - one part of Google's broader ranking system, not a guarantee of rankings on their own. If the target isn't achievable due to factors outside my control (e.g. third-party scripts you can't remove), I'll be upfront about that before we start.
Not always. Many sites can be significantly improved without touching the theme or changing hosts. I'll audit your current stack and tell you the highest-impact changes first. A server upgrade is only recommended if TTFB is the primary bottleneck and can't be resolved through caching.
I include a 14-day monitoring period after optimization closes. If something changes in that window - a plugin update, a new third-party script, a CMS change - I'll diagnose it at no extra cost. I also provide a written optimization guide so you can avoid introducing the same problems again.
