Project Overview
Silver Coast is a multi-disciplinary design and construction company based in Doha, Qatar, offering general contracting, residential building, interior fit-out, renovation, and four other specialized services. The company needed a website that could build immediate trust with prospective residential and commercial clients by showcasing completed projects across Doha neighborhoods including Dafna, Izgawa, Ain Khalid, and Duhail.
I designed and built a five-page WordPress site (Home, About Us, Services, Our Projects, Contact Us) with Elementor Page Builder in 4 weeks, structured around a visual, project-led narrative rather than a text-heavy corporate layout.
The engagement didn't end at launch: I provide ongoing maintenance for the site, renew the domain and hosting annually, worked on SEO and site speed optimization after launch, and set up and manage their Google Workspace email service connected to their own domain.
The Challenge
Construction and design companies compete primarily on trust and visual proof of past work, not on written claims. Silver Coast needed a way to present all eight of its service lines clearly while giving equal visual weight to its project gallery, since photos of completed residential and commercial buildings are what actually convert a visitor into a lead in this industry.
The Solution
I built the site on Astra and Elementor Pro, with ElementsKit Lite extending the widget library for the project gallery and service grid layouts. The result is a visual, project-led site centered on a filterable projects gallery spanning construction, interior design, and renovation work. Eight service sections cover everything from general contracting to utility services, each with its own description. A client testimonials section and logo carousel build social proof, Joinchat connects a WhatsApp chat button site-wide, WPForms handles contact submissions with WP Mail SMTP ensuring reliable delivery, and LiteSpeed Cache keeps page loads fast.

What should a construction company's website prioritize to convert visitors into leads?
Visual proof of finished work matters more than written descriptions. A filterable project gallery organized by project type (construction, interior design, renovation) lets a visitor self-select toward projects similar to what they need, which builds trust faster than a generic services page alone.
Why add WhatsApp chat alongside a contact form on a business website?
In Gulf markets, WhatsApp is often the preferred first-contact channel over email or a contact form. Placing a WhatsApp click-to-chat button alongside standard contact fields lets visitors choose the channel they're already comfortable with, which reduces the drop-off between interest and actual contact.
Does a WordPress project end at launch?
Not for this client. Beyond the initial build, I handle ongoing maintenance, renew the domain and hosting annually, and keep working on SEO and page speed after launch, so the site keeps performing rather than degrading over time. I also set up their Google Workspace email on their own domain as part of that ongoing relationship.
